Selection Process
The SFV Jaycees has established a comprehensive selection process for identifying and selecting the most exceptional leaders between 21 and 40 years of age.
Candidates are evaluated by the Chapter's Board of Directors, which aims to assemble a group of nominees that is diverse, geographically balanced and representative of a wide range of professions, talents and perspectives.
Selection Criteria Potential Candidates
Candidates are between 21 and 40 years of age at the time of nomination and have a recognized record of achievement and substantial leadership experience. Typically, a candidate would have 5-15 years of professional work experience and a show an interest in taking on a leadership role for the rest of his or her career; demonstrated a commitment to serve society at large through exceptional contributions; and show a willingness to invest time and energy in the organization's purpose and activities.
Nomination Process
All SFV Jaycees applicants must be nominated by a current SFV Jaycees member. Nomination forms can be downloaded in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Eligible nominations should be submitted from nominators who are well acquainted with the nominated leader and can attest to his or her qualifications. Nominators do not need to collaborate with the nominee in putting forth the nomination package, neither do they need to keep the submission confidential. Please note that only complete nomination packages will be considered.

Optional information such as recent photo, citations, articles and dated newspaper clippings for the nominee may also be submitted.
Notification
Nominees will be invited to join the SFV Jaycees upon review and approval of the from Board of Directors.
