The San Fernando Valley Jaycees is a non-profit leadership development organization which caters to young professionals in the San Fernando Valley. It was chartered as an organization in July of 2006, and is a member chapter of Junior Chamber International (JCI).
Our chapter’s goal is to develop a wide-ranging team of the San Fernando Valley's most extraordinary young leaders between the ages of 21 and 40, who are ready to dedicate part of their time and energy to jointly working towards a better future. The San Fernando Valley Jaycees identify and attract exceptional individuals, who either live or work in the San Fernando Valley, and who represent a myriad of disciplines and sectors. Together, they form a powerful community that will dramatically impact the future.
The San Fernando Valley Jaycees address issues that are important to both its members and the community. Members develop service projects, which range in scope from local events to Valley-wide initiatives, and that impact business and the community. Additionally, the San Fernando Valley Jaycees meet monthly in both a business and social setting to network, further develop ideas, and engage other young leaders. With leadership development a central tenet to what we do, the San Fernando Valley Jaycees promote leadership training and opportunities through active service to our community.
